The new generation of Mercedes CLK will be coming soon and here is the latest spyshots of it wearing much less disguise than previous seen shots. It will probably be named CE, as AutoExpress reports, showing it fits somewhere in the middle between C and E class. You can tell from the pictures that front is inspired by SL, the side looks almost exactly like CL, and at the back it seems they’ve borrowed CLC tail lights. However we have to wait until sometime in 2009 to see the finished product. The E class coupe will feature some of the latest technologies developed by Daimler such as body control system ‘adaptive damping’, plus adjustable steering and body control settings. Mercedes is serious about its handling, so no one can criticise CLK driving ‘ not as good as BMW ‘ anymore! Full set of Mercedes engine range can be had with this car, plus some newly developed Diesels.
