These are the first official pictures of the production version of new 2009 VW Golf GTI mkVI. One of the greatest names in world of hot hatchbacks. The car looks the same as the concept shown in last year’s Paris Motorshow, and is inspired by the Golf GTI W12 concept. It actually borrows wheels and front grille from the W12, I wish it could borrow the engine too! but no, it is powered by a 2.0 liter I4 TSI engine with 210 hp mated to a six-speed manual or DSG gearbox. New Golf GTI can do 150mph. The car appeared just in time for the Geneva Motorshow so expect more details and images soon.
