Thanks to the Internet live images of BMW’s “Progressive Activity Sedan”or 5-series Gran Turismo are revealed before the car goes on display at 2009 Geneva Motorshow. Pictures are taken in a private BMW event where Chris Bangle and Adrian Van Hooydonk are apparently recording some press stuffs. These images also give us a clear idea of the next generation 5-series looks, and it’s disappointing to be honest!

The 5er GT is believed to be a special variant of 2010 5-series which also will spawn a normal sedan and an estate version. Like the X6, you will struggle to understand this car as well, mostly because we all have a different clue of  a ‘GT’ car. Looking at this giant hatchback with 4 proper doors will bring anything to mind but a Gran Turismo! This is BMW we are talking about afterall, so stay tuned for more details before official launch at Geneva.
