Yep, BMW X1 has been scooped again! I think it’s part of BMW’s media campaign to tease the new X1 compact SUV, so they make a big hype for it at the IAA. About a week ago this car has been caught on the road and now it shows up in front of spy cameras again literally undisguised. Oh, this time it’s in red!
To be honest BMW X1 needs this much media effort because, just look at it! It can’t rely on its fancy looks to sell becuz it’s too ugly and it can’t show off its great capabilities becuz it’s not a real SUV in the first place. It is just a jacked 1-series, and its only feature is the BMW badge! That’s why people will by this minger for a much heavier pay than say a Toyota RAV4 which is a way better car.

Paul, based on your email, apparently you work for BMW Canada so your idea about the car is worthless, because you are paid to say it!!! I think we should wait for road tests results to come out, then we’ll see what it’s really made of!
SUV stands for Sport Utility Vehicle. I would suggest the X1 qualifies nicely. It will have a BMW driving Dynamic hence “Sport”, and it will give lots of room for people and gear hence “Utility”.
As for the “Rav 4 being a way better car” you clearly have no real life experience to make that claim, and I also have a saying “never ask a pig to judge a strawberry..they’ll eat anything”.
