At 2009 Tokyo Motor Show, Mitsubishi too will bring a number of hybrid or pure electric concept cars. One of them will be this i-MiEV Cargo model which is based on the i-MiEV production model and according to the company comes with a generous amount of rear free space to extend the range of uses which is suitable for corporate users and self-employed operators!

It is actually an i-MiEV but with a big cube-shaped luggage compartment at the rear. The Cargo is 350 mm wide by 1180 mm deep and 1100 mm high and has a flat floor for maximum space efficiency. It is powered by Mitsubishi’s Permanent magnet synchronous technology and has 47 KW and 180 nm of torque .
