Mercedes specialist VÄTH has revealed their latest monster disguised in a ML63 AMG packing 585 hp!This package actually makes this ML one of the most powerful SUVs, and of course one of the fastest with 300+ km/h top speed, in the world. However it does not come cheap! the engine modifications alone cost around 20,000 Euros including the installation.

For that money they enlarge countersunk channels leading to the cylinder head, install a big intake and exhaust valves as well as a sports camshaft and fitting valve springs, high-grade steel catalyst converters and a sport air filter. The engine’s controlling unit is also upgraded with a sophisticated software. And there you go! 585 hp and 690 nm of torque.

Obviously VÄTH had to take care of things like the aerodynamics, and stopping power to keep the beast in check, and they have done it properly. The car is fitted with a 405 Euro rear wing which reduces the uplift on the rear axle. As for the braking, it has 15-inch discs and 8-piston fix calipers which set you back another 4641 Euro!

The ML’s Airmatic adjustable suspension is modified with sport springs which lower the ride height by 40 mm and the wheels are also replaced with 3-spoke 22-inch light alloy rims combined with high performance 265/35 ZR 22 or 305/30 ZR 22 Dunlop tires. The combination of wheels and tires and suspension will add another 10,000 Euros to your bill!
