The magnificent BMW M3 E92 has just got better as the company announced a new Performance Competition Package and new retrofit options for it. With the new package which is available for both coupe and convertible models, the car gets new wheels, tweaked suspension, Dual-clutch gearbox, new wheels and new carbon fiber body parts. The power however remains the same.

That means you get 420 hp from a high-revving V8 at the disposal of your right foot, but thanks to the new 7-speed M dual clutch transmission with Drivelogic and the Auto Start Stop Function, it is now cleaner and more efficient. It averages 11.2 litres per 100 kilometres (11.5 for the convertible) and fully complies with the Euro5 standards. The same system is also available for the M3 Sedan.

The ride and handling of the M3 is also enhanced by the Performance package thanks to the modified suspension which is 10mm lower and has electronic damper adjustment function EDC with a newly programmed DSC stability control program. There is also new 9 x 19 inches Y-spoke design alloy wheels. These items not only give you a better driving experience, they also contribute to the car’s sportier looks.

BMW M3 Performance Package also comes with carbon finer aero parts such as the front spoilers and the rear trunk lid wing. It also has new graphic for the taillights. All these small changes add up to make the already great M3 an outstanding car for every occasion.
