Lexus announced official details of it’s specially prepared Nurburgring edition of LF-A supercar. This car is designed for track use and comes with a sport body kit consisting of a larger front spoiler, side fin-type spoilers and a new fixed rear wing. The weapons-grade V10 engine is also tweaked for more power.
This 4.8 liter unit now develops 10 more horsepower at 562 hp which using a six-speed sequential transmission enables the car to hit 60mph from nought in just 3.7 seconds and reach max speed of 202 mph. It also comes with special high-grip tires.
The LF-A is limited to 500 units, the Nurburgring edition is limited to 50 units. At this point we are wondering about the price because as you know the standard car costs around 330 thousand pounds, so this high-performance special version’s price tag would really hurt!
