Great news coming from Inglostadt saying that Audi is convinced that they should put the super awesome Quattro Concept of the 2010 Paris Motor Show, into the production even though in strictly limited numbers. And why shouldn’t they, becasue there’s nothing unrealistic about it. It’s got a classic design, and a modern powertrain derived from other production models. In fact it makes total sense for Audi to make it and sell it for a huge price, as it’s the case with all rare and special Audis!
And they’re already talking about a price tag of nearly 100,000 Euro. Even if the car’s 408 hp engine, quattro permanent all-wheel drive system, 1300 kg weight, and superb performance with 0 to 60 mph time of 3.9 seconds won’t justify that price for you, the looks alone is enough reason to buy it. I know it’s not a very pretty design, but it’s got a great character which it has inherited from the legendary 1984 Sport quattro, and character is what makes a car so cool.
