So, is BMW shooting itself in the leg with the 1M Coupe? Everybody who’s driven the 1M so far admits the car is bloody awesome. Handling, speed, drivability, fun, 1M Coupe does what the bigger, more expensive M3 does. If anything, the six-cylinder 1M is closer to the spirit of the original E30 M3 than the V8-powered E92 M30. Granted the M3 looks better, but the 1M is charming, at least compared to the new 2012 model! In this video MotorTrend pits this two fine vehicles against each other to see what’s what.
