Here’s the first ‘unofficial’ pictures of the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series, from its unveiling at circuit Paul Ricard in France.
So details are scarce, at least official ones. The word is the new C63 Black is powered by the same 6.2 liter as in the SLS AMG, but with output of 517 PS and 680 Nm of torque. The car will also be lighter than the regular C63 AMG, and therefore faster.
Like other Black Series models, it’ll be set up for excessive tail happiness because that’s the way Black Mercs are! And also like other Black Mercs it is going to have a hard ride. You just have to look at those one-piece carbon fiber seats to realize it’s not going to be a comfortable car. That doesn’t matter though, because the Mercedes C63 Black is focused for track use. That’s said, it still got air conditioning, sat nav, automatic gearbox and all the other amenities you need.
These pictures reveal the looks of the car in full. Obviously, it looks more aggressive with massively flared arches, bigger air intakes, vented bonnet, side vents, larger tail spoiler, and a massive diffuser at the back. The interior doesn’t seem to be that different than normal C63.
