Superchips usually picks normal cars to upgrade. But this time they went for a hot hatch and made it more sporty and racy.
It is the limited edition 204 bhp Citroen DS3 Racing that’s receives the treatment and gains an extra 26 bhp at 6312 rpm and 46 Nm at just 3130 rpm.
It’s all doe by uploading a new software onto the car’s 1.6-litre, direct injection, twin-scroll turbocharged engine’s Bosch MED 17 ECU. The extra power gives the car improved low speed and mid–range performance, makes it more eager, crisper and livelier, with significantly enhanced in gear acceleration.
The car is estimated to hit 60 from standstill in 6/5 seconds and reach a top speed f 149 mph. What;s more, if driven responsibly, the DS3’s 42 mpg combined fuel economy will remain intact.
