We agree, it’s a daft idea putting a body kit on a Rolls Royce. But don’t forget where the money is these days, what kind of people can afford a Roller.

I mean rappers, footballers, Arabs,… they actually love cars styled like this Wald RR Drophead. They don’t mind the stupid bumpers, the stunningly vulgar 20-something rims, or the ridiculous side skirts which look more at home on a 1992 Honda Civic. Whatever gets them seen is welcome.

So tuners like Wald keep making such kits because people pay good money for them.

Still, Wald seems to have gone a bit too far with this one. For starters, the Drophead is a very special car and they could have at least modified the Black Bison to look a bit different than the one they put on the Nissan V36. And I’m sorry, but a boot-lid spoiler on a Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead? That’s just wrong!

They’ve ruined a Drophead here, and they’ve ruined it bad.
