2013 Mercedes SL63 Set for New York Auto Show Debut

Mercedes Benz SL at 2013 Mercedes SL63 Set for New York Auto Show Debut

The new Mercedes SL63 AMG is going to skip Geneva Motor Show, and prepare for its world premiere at the next New York Auto Show in April.

Based on the recent spyshots, the car is ready to roll out. Mercedes is basically dilly dallying around, probably adjust a few more things, and wait for the new BMW M6 to be revealed, and then unveil the car.

In other 2013 Mercedes SL  news, the very first Mercedes SL63 AMG in America will be auctioned at Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance in Florida. It is apparently for one man who can’t wait a few more month to get the car, and is willing to pay a whole lot more for it.

The new SL63 will be powered by AMG’s latest V8 which is a 5.5 liter turbocharged engine producing something in the neighborhood of 550hp. Mercedes might revive the SL55 badge on that bases, but that’s yet to be confirmed.
