We absolutely love army green paint jobs. It’s just so very cool, especially if they’re on like a big, expensive car. This Lamborghini Aventador is a classic point in case. Here’s a rather old Mercedes G55 AMG given a similar treatment, but it does not look as cool as we’d expect such a car to be. Maybe that’s because the G55 looks best in black.

The wrapping has been done by France-based tuner Dartz, and it’s a very complete package covering even he grille and air vents. The side steps, bits of the bumpers, and the side moldings have remained untouched.  Maybe if they do the same to a newer G Class, the end result would be better.

The Gelandewagen is the natural choice for an army green wrap, given the history of the car. It was conceived as a military car based on an order from the Shah of Persia in the 1970s, but then turned into a production car and has remained in production pretty much unchanged.
