Audi is taking autonomous driving very seriously, by the looks of things, acquiring a license to test these cars on public roads in Nevada, and showing up at CES 2013 with a fully functional demo car. The piloted driving technology is not a full autopilot feature – yet – but it does a very cool job: it enables the car to go into a parking lot, find a spot, park itself, and then gets out and go pick up its owner. All you have to do is flick a few switches on your smartphone. It’s like hiring a ghost as your personal valet; only you don’t have to pay him!

Very cool. It looks like it could be a production car soon. Wouldn't it be cool to have a car park itself?
