China Gets Another Limited Edition Audi R8

Audi China released details of a new special and limited edition of the R8 sports car that is exclusive to the old country. The ‘limited edition’ market is a very lucrative business for high-end car makers, which is why they go to enormous length to satisfy their discerning customers.

In this case Audi has used Shark Skin leather to make this R8 LE feel extra special. That complements the Alcantara seats, carbon fiber and aluminum trims, and Cool Nordic Gold accents.

Cool Nordic Gold also adorns the exterior, along with matte black and titanium grey accents, and carbon fiber mirror caps, side blades, rear spoiler. You also get unique 19-inch wheels. It really is an object this car.

The engine powering this R8 is a 5.2 liter Lamborghini-derived V10, developing 525 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. Audi will only make 30 units of this special edition, each priced from 2,628,000 Yuan or $422,820.
