Hennessey’s Venom GT hyper car makes headlines again, this time for setting a new world speed record. They took it down to a runaway where it managed to go from 0 to 186 mph (300 km/h) in 13.63 seconds. That is a world record, verified by the Guinness Book of World Records.

Now, usually Hennessey is quick to release a video of their accomplishments, but to see footage of this effort you have to wait two weeks, as it’ll be featured in an episode of DRIVE channel’s Tuned show.
