Mercedes Intelligent Drive Systems Expained in Video

Mercedes Benz has packed all of its advanced safety and driver assist systems in an all-in-one package they call “Intelligent Drive”. Cars fitted with this package will get everything from  PRE-SAFE to ATTENTION ASSIST. The goal here is to first prevent the accident, and if that wasn’t possible, use features to reduce the impact as much as possible.

To give you a better understanding of some of the more important features employed in the Intelligent Drive System, Mercedes released a couple of videos demonstrating them with animation.  The BAS PLUS, the PRE-SAFE, DISTRONIC and Lane Assist, these are some of high-tech features that actively help prevent accidents.They use a range of cameras, radars and sensors to keep you safe.
