Due to its limited production run only a few lucky customers can get a COPO Camaro dragster. For those who want one quite badly but missed the chance to get one, Chevrolet is now offering NHRA-certified Camaro rolling chassis, ready to be fitted with your engine of choice.

Granted, the best part of the COPO is the powertrain, but with a painted body and race ready chassis, you can make your own dragster at a more reasonable price.

The rolling chassis costs $55,000 and comes with full safety equipments including NHRA-approved roll cage, racing suspension with solid rear axle, racing brakes, Bogart racing wheels shod and Hoosier race tires.

The body itself is finished in Summit White and features Camaro hood and SS grille, production window glass and lights, racing seats, production-style instrument panel, steering wheel, racing switch panel, door panels, headliner and black carpeting. Wiring is also included.

Compatible engines include a 5.7-liter V8 with 325 horsepower, a 6.5-liter V8 with 375 horsepower and a 7.0-liter V8 with 425 horsepower. But as is the case with such cars, bit of modifications and you can put any engine you like in it.
