MEC Design has released an updated version of the Black “in” Black Mercedes S63 AMG kit featuring a set of retro-inspired wheels. The modern and sleek body of the W222 S-Class doesn’t really lend itself to such treatments, but we have to say the end result looks kinda good.

MEC Design Mercedes S63 AMG in these pictures features the tuner’s mecxtreme1 wheels in size 10,5×22 in ch on the front axle and 11,5×22 inch on the rear, with 285 and 295 section tires respectively. As the name suggests, the wheels are finished in matte black to match the exterior color, while the polished stainless steel outer lips add a nice contrast to the whole thing and make it look more “classic”.

Apart from the wheels MEC Design Mercedes S63 AMG also gets a lowering module that is a vital part of what gives the car its sexy looks. Without it the S63 would look kind of clunky on those unique wheels. So right on there. Another nice touch is the fact that MEC has painted all the chrome parts on the exterior in matte black, giving the car a stealthy look.

Mercedes S63 AMG is powered by a 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 engine developing 530 horsepower in normal and 570 horsepower in S-Model 4Matic guise.
