Volkswagen announced the launch of the new limited-edition Beetle Classic model in America where it goes on sale this week starting from $20,195 for the 1.8T Coupe. As the name suggests, this model comes with retro-inspired features reminiscent of the original Beetle.

VW Beetle Classic comes in in three colors—Pure White, Black Uni, and Reflex Silver, and has 17-inch “Heritage” aluminum-alloy wheels. The car also features a rear spoiler which isn’t very retro. Power comes from a 1.8-liter turbocharged and direct-injection TSI four-cylinder engine that makes 170 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Additional features of the VW Beetle Classic include a leather-wrapped shifter knob and handbrake lever, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, an RNS 315 navigation system, a multifunction steering wheel, two-tone brown “Sioux” leatherette and checked cloth seating surfaces, and comfort front seats with driver’s side lumbar support.

In the early 2015 VW will launch the Beetle Classic Convertible starting at $25,995.
