Lightweight is the name of a German tuner interested in, well, lightness. They are also very fond of horsepower. In their latest creation based on the BMW M4, they have combined these two traits to make a super speed machine for use on the road and the race track.

Lightweight’s BMW M4 features a new front spoiler and rear wing made from lightweight carbon fiber and left exposed on display as a styling feature while enhancing the downforce. The stock wheels meanwhile are replaced with a set of 19-inch BBS light alloys shod with 265 front and 285 rear tires.

Lightweight has also equipped this BMW M4 with Bilstein Clubsport suspension system which is a welcome upgrade, given what they’ve done to the engine. Through some profound changes including the installation of a titanium sport exhaust system with valve control, the power output of the car’s twin-turbo Straight-six engine has gone up from the standard 430 hp and 550 Nm to more than 520 horsepower with 650 Nm of torque.

Other modifications available include safety cage, bucket seats with six point safety belts, adjustable front spoiler blade, carbon rear diffuser, a spoiler lip on the boot lid and an enclosed underbody. The cost of a Lightweight BMW M4 with all the mods comes to 89,000 Euros.
