Think of this as official car spotting! This beautiful DMC McLaren 12C equipped with the tuner’s “Velocita” styling package was recently spotted in Cannes, and they decided to use it to introduce the details of the special “Wind Edition” version. Basically this is a more extreme take on the Velocita.

So the car’s full name is DMC McLaren 12C Velocita Wind Edition which is a mouthful, but then it is something rather special. Based on the McLaren MP4 12C super car, the Velocita Wind Edition comes with a lightweight carbon fiber body kit, a bespoke titanium exhaust system, and a full leather interior treatment.

The body kit consists of a revised front bumper featuring front lip, center sword and aggressive F1 canards, side skirts, new rear diffuser with extra fins for a more profound visual impact, and unique new rear spoiler. There is also a roof scoop and a new side vents which, like all the other new components, are clear-coated carbon fiber and make an awesome contrast with the white body.

Inside the cabin DMC McLaren 12C benefits from a red leather treatment while other options are also available, including wooden trims. But we are more interested in DMC’s ECU mod for the 12C which bumps the power from the standard 590 to 660 horsepower; although we suspect the sport exhaust system is also a contributing factor here.
