Need proof that Akrapovic makes the sickest sports exhaust systems in the world? Here’s four of them! Well, it’s actually five, there is also a Nissan 370Z, but since it seems insignificant compared to the other four we didn’t count it in.

The Akrapovic equipped cars in this noise fest include the BMW M4, BMW M5 F10, Porsche 911 (991) GT3, and the Mercedes SLS AMG:

Depending personal preference, some people like the sound of a straight-six better than a dumbing V8, And everybody loves the distinctive sound a Porsche’s flat-six. But that is before you introduce the Akrapovic to the equation. Their system has a profound effect on the way any engine sounds. You you should enter this having put your prejudices aside.

A high-end Akrapovic exhaust system is usually made from titanium for optimum quality and sheer lightness, and it features carbon fiber tips, although they are optional. They also have valve control system which enables the driver to adjust the sound, and have a special design for the tubing and the headers, which is of course what results in that iconic soundtrack. These exhaust also have a positive effect on the performance of the engine, but the first priority here is a spine-tingling noise.
