It took G-Power, one of the world’s most prominent BMW tuners, a long time to come up with an upgrade package for the M4. They took their sweet time over this, but what they’ve prepared was definitely worth the wait. The G-Power BMW M4 is a 520 horsepower, 325 km/h super coupe.
The key to the power and performance of G-Power BMW M4 is a Bi-Tronik 5 microprocessor – chip tuning in layman’s term – which changes parameters such as fuel amount and ignition time, while increasing the charging boost of the turbochargers. It results in a substantial power hike from 431 PS (317 kW) / 550 Nm to 520 PS (382 kW) / 700 Nm.
Performance-wise, that power translates into a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 3.9 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 11.8 seconds, and a top speed of 325 km/h.
G-Power engineers are very precise about the work, so much so that you’d think a bunch of nerds are running this prestigious company! To give you an example, power increase mode in the module they’ve installed on the M4 is activated only once the prescribed cooling water temperature is reached.
Other goodies available for the G-Power BMW M4 include 20-inch G-POWER HURRICANE RR forged wheels and adjustable GM4-RS coilover suspension. Rest assured, later on they will introduce more powerful engine treatments as well as body kits.
