The latest Mercedes E63 AMG 4MATIC S-Model is the embodiment of the famous expression ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’. It looks like a run of the mill executive saloon, but it comes out of the factory boasting 585 horsepower and a four-wheel-drive system that enables it to be really, really fast, anytime, anywhere.

But as is always the case with AMG cars, the E63 has a lot more room for improvement. Tuner VATH has been looking for a way to exploit this potential, and they have arrived at a solution that unlocks another 165 horses from the car’s 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 engine. That, combined with over 1,000 Nm of torque, gives the car the ability to reach a top speed of 350 km/h.

VATH Mercedes E63 AMG also features upgraded chassis and suspension as well as wheel/tire and brakes. You can just add 165 horsepower to the engine and leave the running gear intact. So a lot of money has been spent electronically adjustable suspension system and beefy brakes with steel tubing, racing braking pads and Castrol SRF racing brake fluid. The wheel-tire combination consists of 9×20” rims on the front axle with tires 265/30ZR20, and 11×20” out back shod with 305/25ZR20 rubber.
