G-Power is a BMW specialist with a huge obsession with records. They are always after making the fastest and most powerful Bimmers in every class and segment. Their latest creation, the G-Power BMW M550d, is the fastest BMW station wagon with a diesel engine.

So not exactly relevant so far as diesel-powered BMW station wagon buyers are concerned – since most of them are German soccer moms – but quite an impressive feat nonetheless. G-Power BMW M550d Wagon benefits from the tuner’s take on the 3.0 liter inline-6 cylinder diesel engine, already tuned to some extent by BMW when it leaves the factory. They install their own software, D-Tronik 5 V1 module, on the engine and boost it up to 435 hp/(320 kW) and 850 Nm of torque from the standard 380 hp and 740 Nm.

The extra oomph enables the G-Power BMW M550d to accelerate from stand still to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reach an officially verified top speed of  271,4 km/h, which of course makes it the fastest diesel-powered BMW wagon in history. The car remains pretty much stock otherwise, except for the 21 inch G-POWER HURRICANE RR forged wheels, wrapped with tires in the dimensions 255/30 and 295/25 respectively, which contribute greatly to the new-found performance of the vehicle.
