Brabus Mercedes AMG GT Revealed in Full

Brabus Mercedes AMG GT IAA 0 600x325 at Brabus Mercedes AMG GT Revealed in Full

Following an early preview, Brabus now reveals their full upgrade package for the Mercedes AMG GT S in time for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Naturally, Brabus Mercedes AMG GT looks very classy and discreet, but packs a big punch.

Mind you, that punch is not as big as one would expect having seen Brabus’s other IAA-bound car, the 850-hp G63 Widestar. Brabus Mercedes AMG GT is upgraded by the tuner from 510 to 600 horsepower, which isn’t that big of an upgrade, but still pretty good, especially as the engine also makes 750 Nm (553 lb-ft). With the extra oomph the GT can now reach a top speed of 320 km/h.

While the performance side of this program leaves something to be desired, we don’t see how Brabus could do a better job with the exterior. Brabus Mercedes AMG GT boasts a superb carbon fiber aero kit which makes its presence known boasting a front spoiler lip, side skirts with tall flaps, side vents, a prominent rear diffuser, and a subtle rear spoiler, while remaining perfectly cool and discreet, especially against the black paint job.

Also included in the AMG GT package is a set of ultra-light BRABUS Monoblock F forged wheels, a sports suspension with a multitude of selectable settings for damping and ride height, and a sports exhaust system made from lightweight titanium with electronically controlled sound management. An interior refinement program with lots of leather and carbon is also available.
