IAA 2015: Mansory Mercedes S63 Black Edition

Mansory Mercedes S63 Black Edition 0 600x401 at IAA 2015: Mansory Mercedes S63 Black Edition

Finally, a Mansory Mercedes S63 AMG that is not yellow! This year at Frankfurt Motor Show Mansory has really outdone itself with all the Black Editions they launched. This is their latest take on the S63 AMG sedan and it is limited to just 6 units.

The highlights of Mansory Mercedes S63 Black Edition on the outside include a carbon body kit which looks surprisingly discreet on the black sedan, including front spoiler and grille surronds, front grille, lip spoiler, mirror caps, side skirts, side vents, rear diffuser, and the roof and boot spoiler combo. Add to that a set of striking 22-inch mono-block cast “MULTISPOKE” MAnsory wheels fitted with Vredestein ULTRAC SESSANTA, and you have one hot looking Merc on your hand.

The more interesting aspect of Mansory Mercedes S63, however, is not in plain sight. It’s hidden under the bonnet in form of a 5.5 liter V8 twin-turbo motor onto which the tuner has installed new connecting rods, big end bearings, crankshaft, bearing bushings, turbocharger, suction and compressor system plus a bespoke exhaust system. It churns out 1,000 horsepower and 1,400 Nm of torque.

Performance-wise, the Black Edition S63 can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, but top speed is sadly limited to just 300 km/h.
