In another one of their special projects, Swiss tuner Cartech has put together a rather dashing custom Ferrari 458 Italia. Who buys a 458 anymore now that the 488 GTB is around? Those who couldn’t afford it when it was new, that’s who.

With the prices plummeting on the 458, there are many folks who can now get their hands one of these cars and have enough left to have them tricked-out and improved. That is why treatments like the one given to this custom Ferrari 458 Italia have actually become more popular after the launch of the GTB. And this one by Cartech is definitely one of the nicest custom 458s we have ever seen.

A large of part of that goodness is due to the color combination on this car, with a dark grigio on the body complemented with smoked lights and a set of Satin Black wheels. And those are HRE forged wheels, mind you, measuring 21 inch on the front axle and 22 inch on the rear wrapped with 335/25 tires. What’s more, those smoked lights and blacked-out accents aren’t just randomly painted parts, but specially designed Novitec Rosso products.

Novitec has also supplied the suspension system for this, complete with a lift kit, which is part of the reason why those wheels enjoy such perfect fit.
