What you are looking at here, ladies and gentlemen, is the world’s one and only Ivory White McLaren Mercedes SLR Roadster. This car was a special commission built in 2009 in this unique color with a red and black interior as an homage to the legendary 1955 Mercedes 300 SL, and it is one helluva looker.

Normally we expect to see a car as rare and as special as this Ivory White McLaren Mercedes SLR Roadster at an auction or a concourse. But this car popped up recently at Driving Emotions car showroom in Florida.

This car is so special on so many different levels, we don’t where to begin. First there is the fact that it’s a McLaren Mercedes SLR, one of the world’s first proper hyper cars. Then there is the Roadster-ness of it, and then of course the bespoke paint work and interior. The Ivory White McLaren Mercedes SLR Roadster boasts 300 SL’s Elfenbein (Ivory) exterior color and Red Silver Arrow leather interior with Alcantara and carbon fiber. Our favorite part of this magnificent car is the maroon soft top which makes a wonderful contrast with the body when it’s up.

Mechanically, the car is a standard SLR Roadster powered by an AMG V8 compressor engine developing 626 hp and a maximum torque of 780 Nm, propelling the car with the help of an AMG Speedshift R five-speed automatic transmission from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.
