Daneil Morad, Lebanon’s A1 driver secured third place for the team in tomorrow’s feature race at Sepang circuit,Malaysia. This is their best result in qualifying since Zandvoort where they only managed a tenth place. And it seems that the trick to it was saving the Power Boost feature of A1 car for the last section!

Morad told Autosport: “It was a clean lap, but it didn’t feel that quick because you have to brake earlier when you carry that bit more speed. I couldn’t see the time because the dash just said ‘push to pass’. I didn’t know what had happened until I got back to the pits and everyone was surrounding me. They told me I was third and I was quite surprised.

He also promised that this is the sign of team’s constant improvement which will show in next races.
