This is 2010 Hyundai i40 which will replace current Sonata range. So Sonata will be gone for good! Hooray! As a Hyundai official said to Autocar with this car they are looking to gain some image, they are focusing more on style rather than value. And it is telling.  It comes in sedan and estate variants and will get the newly introduced 2 litre 180 bhp Diesel engine alongside other Hyundai powerplants.

Hyundai has made up a good market through its good value for money, but it always suffered from lack of passion and style and feel. Now however, by introducing Genesis range and i40 and upcoming Santafe replacement they are moving toward a new era which Hyundai batch is more respected. But they should look out they don’t loose what they stand for and what people by Hyundais for, VALUE.
