Before getting into news, I bet you haven’t seen an orange R8 like the one in picture, right? 🙂 Anyway, Audi confirmed rumors about the V10 version of its striking R8. it will debut at 2009 NAIAS Detroit autoshow. Like the R8 LMS,

this car will also be powered by the same Lamborghini Gallardo breeded V10 capable of 525hp. One can expect coresponding modifications in other parts of the car to keep up with the extra power. New brakes, suspension, exhaust system and wheels will be coming with V10 R8.

Also the Spider variant will hit the European market in late 2009 and as rumor has it and spyshots have shown, the side panels will be gone and the car will come in one-tone paintjob. Again there will be some mechanical adjustments for the open top so it will remain as good to drive as the coupe.
