Current Kia Sorento’s long years of presence in the market is about to come to an end and it’s gonna be replaced by this new version which Kia is teasing with this dark image, as this way of promoting products is on trend these days. The new Sorento will not only be a new design, but also will be a new car underneath. It’s become more of a crossover than the SUV it used to be.

It will feature a unibody platform which in simple words means that the chassis and body panels are made in one piece , making the car more agile and sporty, but reduce its offroad capability at the same time. The Sorento will be powered by a new range of petrol and diesel engines with a new six-speed autobox, which promise improved fuel efficiency.

The 2010 KIA Sorento is exoected to make its debut at this year’s Seoul Auto Show.
