BMW X5M and X6m are finally revealed. Sharing the same styling cues, both cars are powered by a turbocharged V8 with 555 hp and 700 nm of torque. But BMW has chosen horrible colors for these promo pictures! See X6M too.
BMW X5 and X6 M accelerate from 0 to 100 in 4.7 seconds and top speed is limited to 250 km/h, but with the optional “M Driver’s Package” you can raise it to 275km/h. BMW claims that this engine averages 14 liter per 100 kilometer.
BMW’s all wheel drive system ‘X-Drive’ is re-tuned with performance in mind and works in perfect harmony with DSC, ABS, CBC, HDC, ASC and … BMW loves abbreviations!
BMW X5M is priced in the same range as Mercedes ML63 AMG. It costs 105,900 euros which is about 25 grand cheaper than the equally powerful Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
