To place the SLS on the stage set for it, a 120-ton hydraulic crane will let the car float down onto the roof terrace – an ultra-precision job.

Mercedes SLS AMG is powered by a new version of AMG’s 6.3 liter V8 which chucks out 571 hp and deliver it to the ground via a 7-speed MCT gearbox. Weighting at 1620 kilograms, the SLS has performance of a supercar, zero to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds and top speed of over 317 km/h. But it is also efficient for a vehicle of this type averaging 13.2 litres per 100 kilometres.
