For its third year of presence in the market, Nissan is giving the mighty Godzilla a minor update. It will go on sale in global markets in Spring 2010.Unfortunately though, none of this updates are mechanical, you still get the old 3.8 liter V6 developing 480 hp, but you will get a a revised navigation system, re-calibrated suspension settings and an improved-flow catalyst system. Cheers!
The updated GT-R comes with a new HDD-based CARWINGS navigation system with enhanced entertainment functions. A USB port with iPod®*1 connectivity allows the driver and passengers to enjoy their favorite music in the car, creating an even more pleasant interior environment.
The car also gets a new setting for the front shock absorbers and stiffer rear suspension. It is fitted with a new rear diffusers with cooling ducts which was exclusive to the Spec-V models but now you can have it on the regular models as well since the spec-V will be getting a new one for itself!
Nissan also promises that the engine response of the new model is much better due to the newly adopted hexagonal meshed catalyst cells that reduce ventilation/airflow resistance.
