As we are approaching the new year, manufacturers are announcing new pricing on 2010 updated and new models. One of these new models which was unveiled at this year’s Tokyo Autoshow and received very good media is the Nissan Fuga, an Infiniti based luxury sedan which firstly will go on sale in Japanese domestic market. The car is very well equipped and comes with lots of new features starting at around $45,000.

The interior of Fuga is garnished with a nice blend of leather and and wood grain panels coated with genuine silver powder, which gives them an immaculate mirror finish. It features a new “Forest AC” air conditioning system that creates the refreshing climate, fragrance and natural breezes of a relaxing forest setting.

Fuga also comes with an enhanced Personal Driving Position Memory System, which recognizes each driver through the individual Intelligent Key used to unlock the door. Unlike previous systems that only adjusted seating, steering wheel and mirror positions, the new design also retains the individual’s air conditioner, navigation and audio system preferences as programmed in advance. Other advanced systems designed to support interior comfort are the HDD CARWINGS Navigation System with Built-in Terrestrial Digital TV Receiver and the concert hall-quality Bose Surround Sound System

The Fuga can be had with either a 2.5-liter or a a 3.7-liter engines from Nissan’s award wining VQ series. The first one has 225 hp and 258 Nm of torque, and the latter 333 hp and 363 Nm of torque. Both engines come with Nissan’s Variable Valve Event and Lift (VVEL) system and are mated to an advanced 7-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.

The car also has a long list of standard and optional equipments which vary based on the trim level you choose, but includes: Bi-xenon headlights and Active AFS (Adaptive Front lighting System), bright LED rear combination taillights, side blind-spot monitor, back-view monitor, heated door mirror, flat-blade wipers and Hill Start Assist, EBD (Electronic Braking Distribution), ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and 4WAS (4 Wheel Active Steer), Rise-up & Build-up, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), LDP (Lane Departure Prevention), LDW (Lane Departure Warning) and…
