General Motors has unveiled the new GMC Arcadia revealing the fact that it’ll be the first crossover to get the Denali treatment. Denali badge for GMC cars means extra luxury and exclusivity through more standard equipments and unique styling cues. The car will go on sale in the third quarter of 2010 as a 2011 model.

GMC Arcadia is powered by a 3.6 liter V6 engine with 288 hp. This engine is equipped with VVT system which optimizes performance and fuel economy, so it returns 17 / 24 mpg (FWD) and  16 / 23 mpg (AWD) – city/highway. The car also has a sophisticated suspension, rare for an American car! It’s consists of coil-over strut; direct acting stabilizer bar; full perimeter isolated cradle at front and  linked H-arm independent suspension; coil springs with twin-tube shock absorbers mounted on isolated sub-frame on the rear axle.

The new Arcadia which can be had in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive formats and seven or eight passenger configuration features refined styling. It comes with mono-color exterior and chrome honeycomb grille, as well as Unique lower front and rear fascias High-intensity discharge headlamps, Body-color lower cladding and rocker moldings, Body-color rear fascia and fender flares, Unique body-side moldings with chrome accents and Denali badges, Dual chrome exhaust tips and 20-inch, two-tone chrome-clad six-spoke wheels.

There’s also five exclusive color for the exterior: Quicksilver Metallic, Summit White, Carbon Black, Red Jewel Tintcoat and White Diamond Tricoat.

This being a Denali, means that it comes with a long list of standard and optional features. Here’s that long list:
