Today Kia Motors launched a new edition of its Soul urban vehicle in the American market, known as the Shadow Dragon! And as you see in this press picture above, this dragon has swallowed a big rat! This car is the third model of a lineup of four special editions Kia has planned. It comes with an exclusive theme and a few extra goodies.

Kia might have accidentally mistaken this car with a Caddy Escalade because they’ve come up with a black-on-black scheme for it! And you would have mistaken it too if it wasn’t for the lame matte black dragon graphics on the hood and tailgate! Other supposedly cool black-on-black features include 18-inch wheels and machined accents, a body-color wing-type spoiler and high-gloss black accents found on the front and rear bumper inserts.

As for the inside, for the first time Kia Soul is offered with leather upholstery for the seats and they have warmers as well. Not to mention the black theme continues. The equipments of Shadow Dragon soul include Audio Upgrade Package (center speaker, subwoofer, external amplifier and speaker lights that pulse to the beat of the music), an iPod connection cable for full functionality via the radio head unit and steering wheel controls, carpeted floor mats, moonroof, fog lights and fender vents with side marker repeaters.

Equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, this car starts at $18,195 (plus $695 destination charge).
