Lotus Evora Cup at Lotus Evora Cup Announced

Lotus revealed the first image and details of the Evora Cup, the racing version of their new supercar which complies with FIA GT3 regulations and will also get its very own one-make racing series. In fact every single model by the Norfolk-based company should have this, even if they make SUVs some day, it’ll get a racing version too!

The Evora Cup comes with a tuned version of the 40 liter V6 engine which delivers 400 horsepower to the rear limited-slip diff through a a Cima six speed sequential paddle shift dog gearbox.

The Cup also sports a carbon fiber Dallara aero kit with front splitter, extended side skirts, a big rear wing and diffuser. The car’s weight has been kept low at 1,200 Kg which is about 200 Kg lighter than the production model, and that makes it a sweet handling car, specially as it’s fitted with a racing-grade high performance suspension system, ABS and traction control.

The pricing for a fully prepared Lotus Evora Cup is £120,000 (without VAT).
