At this year’s Geneva Motor Show German tuning giant Hamann will unveil one of their most outrageous works yet in form of the BMW X6M TYCOON Evo. Now as we are getting closer to the show, the tuner released more images and details on this fearsome vehicle which is based on the X6M, which with a 555hp twin-turbo V8 is already mad enough by most people’s standards!
But with Hamann’s package the power goes up to a massive 670 hp and 780 Nm torque! This volcano enables this tall and heavy SUV to perform like a full-on super car and hit the 100 km/h from standing still in just 4.2 seconds and if you are brave enough to push it, hit the 300 km/h mark eventually.
The X6M TYCOON also gets some decent clothing to show off its bewildering amount of brutal force! Hamann gives it a wide body kit with new aero parts such as the front spoiler, a large diffuser, roof wing, liftgate wing and the side skirts, which by the way in combination with the lowered suspension and those huge wheels inside the massively buffed up fenders, will kill the car’s off-road capabilities almost entirely!
But then when you have such tire-shredding power at the disposal of your right foot, you inevitably need to adjust some other things to keep the car in check. So the tuner installs new suspension components which drop the car by a good 60 millimetres and then put 11.0 x 23-inch wheels at the front and 12.0 x 23-inch at the rear axle wrapped in high performance tires size 315/25. These lightweight alloys can be had in different designs
For the interior, in addition to the existing factory-provided interior, HAMANN offers accessories made of black-anodised aluminium in combination with carbon applications. Pedals and foot rest render motor sports air and perfectly match the 12-part HAMANN decoration set made of carbon fibre. An three-spoke sports steering wheel additionally render the TYCOON EVO M a dynamic overall appearance. For the luggage compartment in the back of the X6 M, HAMANN offers an elegant and practical boot mat with diamond-shaped decorations and an embroidered logo.
