Best works of German tuning house VATH are those based on AMG-powered Mercs. And this new one is indeed one of the finest! The base for this monster is a Mercedes G55 AMG, which has a 500+ hp supercharged V8. When it leaves VATH workshop though, it has no less than 680 horsepower and 840 Nm of peak torque.
Extracting this much power from that brilliant engine is not easy of course, the tuner has to install a bunch of new things such as specially designed manifolds, larger intercoolers, a custom made exhaust system and modified electronics. But since all this changes enable this big and mighty SUV to hit 265 km/h, it’s worth it!
To cope with that volcano under the bonnet, the G55 has become lower by 25mm and features massive 390mm brake discs which are placed inside the new 22-inch lightweight alloys wrapped in Yokohama Advan high performance tires.
As usual, VATH provides a bodykit as well so their car would stand alone in public. For this car they modify the grille, bonnet and the bumpers so it has a whole new face. It also gets new side steps and gangsta tinted windows. The interior is also garnished with leather and alcantara, while you get new instrument panel and multimedia system.
