BMW and Alpina has launched their latest creation, the B3S Bi-Turbo in the United Kingdom. Based on the 3-Series Convertible, this car comes with a 400 hp 3-liter straight-six engine which is also tweaked for efficiency. It also features a typical Alpina body kit which really suits the style of the 3er, and Alpina signature wheels.

Alpina engineers played magic with the car’s twin-charged straight-six engine and increased the power form 305 hp to an astonishing 400 hp with 540 Nm. This power translates into 0 to 60 mph sprint in 4.7 seconds and top speed of 186 mph. This powerplant also delivers 29.1 mpg and CO2 emissions of 224 g/km, amazing numbers for a high performance sportscar. It is fitted with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The car’s aerodynamic kit consists of a redesigned front spoiler, rear wing and a new rear diffuser with integrated twin tailpipes. This kit provides better aerodynamic efficiency than the standard car, and it’s also very very cool because Alpina always is!

The deliveries in UK will begin from July.
