GeigerCars, the German tuner who only does American cars, has come up with something which shows they are much more than just a bunch of power-crazed mentalists! They took a stock Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid which is a big SUV powered by a thirsty V8 and a tiny electric motor to fool people into believing that it’s a green vehicle! And they’ve done something creative to it.
You see the standard Tahoe’s hybrid system is called Two-Mode because of course it has two sources of power. Now Geiger makes it the Tri-Mode by adding a third source of power! And that’s the LPG. They install a kit on the car’s 6.0 liter V8 engine which enables it to run on LPG and it also enhances the car’s overall mileage as it comes with a 109 liters tank.
Geiger asks 56,000 Euros for the basic car and 4,000 Euros for the kit. Granted 60 grand seems like a lot for a rubbish SUV, but at least it’s a little bit greener than before!
