Nissan announced the official US pricing for both sedan and hatchback variants of the updated 2011 Versa. Also known as Tiida in some markets, the car starts from just $9,990 for the basic sedan version, which is the same as 2009 model even though it comes with upgraded design, powertrain and equipments.
This reasonably priced efficient car can be had with many standard and optional features including an in-dash 6-disc CD player, ABS, Navigation System, Nissan Intelligent Key, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System and XM Satellite Radio.
While the sedan can be had with either a 1.6 or a 1.8 liter engine, the sportier hatchback is only available with the 1.8, and starting from $13,520 it’s quite a bit more expensive than the sedan as well. But it comes with a low-cost Navigation/Satellite Package with a 5-inch LCD touch screen monitor, XM Satellite Radio and XM NavTraffic with Real-Time Traffic Information.
