A while ago BMW silently released a new special edition of the M3 E92 exclusive for the Chinese market called the Tiger Edition. Now there’s a few official pictures of the car out which confirms some of its details, such as the orange body color similar to the one on the M3 GTS, blacked-out M aero kit and 19-inch wheels.
The reason they call it the BMW M3 Tiger Edition is because it’s the Tiger year in China and BMW wanted to please them with this car. After all China’s massive market is very important to BMW and indeed all other manufacturers.
The thing is, the M3 Tiger is almost the same as the GTS, and is also powered by the standard 4.0 liter V8 with the same 420 hp. So to be honest there’s not much new about it. Even so it’s limited to 250 units, which must be sold out by now!
Check out the pictures below. This is a horrible color IMO, but that Chinese martial art is cool!
