Just as Superchips released a kit for diesel-powered Mercedes models, Unichip has come up with a similar package for BMW diesel engine to balance out the competition. Available for 120, 320 and 520d models from 2003 onwards, this electronic kit fiddles with the engine fueling and boost the performance, not by much, without compromising economy or reliability.

Unichip’s U-Connect piggy back ECU which can be easily installed and removed improves the output of of the 520d models by 19bhp and 40lb.ft of torque, up to 188bhp, and 252lb.ft of torque. 120d and 320d models will benefit from similar performance gain, but their base engine is a bit weaker than the 520d.

The kit is priced at £465.30 including VAT @ 17.5%.
